Pros
Challenging and interesting work advancing healthcare, lots of ownership and visibility, promising technology
Cons
The original CEO (was replaced by the board a few months before the company shut down but it was too late by then) was a micromanager who wasn't able to let teams to work independently and had to be involved in every decision, even the smallest decision. They would override the team's recommendation with their decision, then turned around and lashed out at the team when their direction did not result in the desired outcome. The CEO created a toxic culture of blame throwing instead of taking ownership and responsibility that it was their direction that the teams were following. They were clearly too inexperienced to be a CEO and also led a culture of long, wasteful meetings that made things very inefficient for everyone.
