Pros
Culver's usually promotes from within and getting into management is very doable if you put in the hard work. High community values. Great company culture, everyone is happy to be there. Culver's is a very respected company, and looks great on a resume starting out. Employees are treated well at all levels of the company.
Cons
Management both on store level and corporate level is too resistant to change. Pay is sub-par, even for management. The owner at my particular location is not open to ideas that he didn't think of first. Management constantly suffers from group-think and never seems to get anything done. Although it's possible to get into management without initially knowing anyone, people who know managers, especially GMs have a leg up and usually get promoted faster.
