Pros
Customer service is highly valued--I feel proud to be part of a team who cares about the people they serve. Management is very easy-going and kind. Flexible hours. I'm a college student, and so I can only work on breaks--my managers are always willing to schedule me whenever I'm in town, and I don't lose my job if I'm gone 6 months. Raises are given at each review. I've gotten 3 raises in 5 years. Hard work does not go unnoticed Culver's hires employees with disabilities; no discrimination
Cons
The training videos were a bit monotonous. I understand they need to be done, but we had to "refresh" ourselves after working there for 3 years, which was unnecessary for employees who do their job well. There isn't much opportunity for advancement: there are 3 basic positions--crew member/cook, assistant manager, general manager. Becoming a manager is fairly easy, but there can only be one general manager per store. The work can get boring if you work full-time.
