Pros
Work life balance is great as there is very little work for non engineering jobs
Cons
Thankfully I left the company in July. Since then Cummins is laying off 2000 people. They behave as exactly any other cut throat bank to fire people and fired mostly Indians and Chinese people (based on anecdotal accounts). No explanation. Extremely poor idea of what should be done in the future, mindset of a fast follower not a leader. Plus Columbus has to be the absolute worst place to live in the US especially if you are not 50 years or older. Salaries are below par from other general management jobs which you can get post MBA.
