Pros

There's a lot going well for the company in terms of its engineering. Its a global company so local autonomy outside the mothership is good for business - and tends to get things done.

Cons

While it starts with a weeklong training program, teaching us about the missions, vision, values and diversity of thought it comes down to, really, if you're from a small town you'll do fine. The big company with a small town mentality is stifling and politics rule the daily life and frustrations of big companies... too much Six Sigma like consensus decision making. Do as you're told and you'll be fine.

Pros

Work from home, flexibility, paternal leave policy, pension plan

Cons

Pay is low and has not kept up with inflation. Leadership is only DEI hires, and they do not seem to understand the actual work being done. They are making life miserable for employees by adding unnecessary KPI's and performance tracking to make a name for themselves within the senior leadership. No loyalty for employees, they will let you go in the blink of an eye if the business struggles.
