Pros
Many of the dispensary associates are great, hard working people with a true passion for cannabis.
Cons
Wow, where do I start…. -During the time I was there, layoffs occurred 4 times and not handled well. After being let go, some were emailed a survey asking why they left the company. Unreal. -Field leadership is responsible for cleaning up the mess made by marketing, operations, etc. -Launch of company wide contests and not paying out prizes or taking ownership of the misses. When asked for updates, higher ups responded with “what contest?” -You seriously cannot trust ANYONE. As soon as you do, they’ll stab you in the back. Very concerning, so beware! -Many of the higher level leaders came from a well known apparel company. You’ll catch on to that really quick. When they visit your dispensary, they’ll spend the majority of the time on their phone/computer. Sometimes they’ll nod their head and pretend that they are listening to your ideas/concerns. Not happening. -Early this year, upper management made it mandatory that employees lie to customers about what was in stock (not kidding) They were testing how well they would do only selling first party product. Quality 3rd party product was in the back room the entire time….this really showed how much they truly cared about their customers/patients. -Last minute changes in hours of 4/20, along with a change in the POS system, causing massive loss of business and bad service -Revolving door of HR support. No one knew who to go to because when they finally contacted them, someone else was overseeing it, temporarily, until someone new came around. -People first/investing in our people was only a saying at the start of the fiscal year. After the first couple months, it was never mentioned again because it was always about the dollars.
