Don't work in Sheffield - Contact Centre Advisor Currys Employee Review

DC has outsourced their operations to Webhelp, who have started to move everything over to South Africa. Recently made an entire Sales department redundant during the PANDEMIC, with rumours that the rest will go next year. The funny thing is, customer service is now terrible because Karen in Southampton is now trying to find the whereabouts of her fridge freezer via someone in SA, that's not going to go down very well is it. Overall DC are a company that will cut costs wherever they can which is a real shame because they used to be an employer of choice in Sheffield and people literally used to queue up to work there in 2016. Company used to focus on customer experience and we had strong targets for service etc but it's gone downhill. I wouldn't recommend getting a job there right now in case you get made redundant next year.
