Shambles - Customer Service Agent Currys Employee Review

The whole training process is an absolute shambles from the word go , 8 days training of death by PowerPoint with no system training which considering it was a call centre is ridiculous . No rota until the day we started !! Then told we would be working every weekend for the next 4 weeks which was contrary to what we were told at the interview stage . Constant phone calls and texts of Security watchdog they use stating we hadn't completed the information which I clearly had on several occasions . I really can't emphasise on how pointless the training actually was compared to the role . Out of 35 people in our training group 3 left in the first 3 hours and 5 left within a week !! . We were informed that when we went live on the phones there would be an abundance of floor walkers and helpers , not a chance !! I had to keep a customer on hold for 20 mins before I got help , so much for treating customers fairly . I left after one shift , handed my resignation in and my headset and then a week later yes one week I got a letter stating that due to unauthorised abscence I was to attend a discipinary!!!! A week after I had handed my resignation in !!! . The company is an utter shambles
