Pros

- Talented, passionate brokers - Exciting culture - Great time off- 20 flex days, closing early on summer Friday's and before holidays - Regional events/team building

Cons

- No growth opportunities: If you are considering taking a position as a marketing & administrative assistant, and have professional experience and hope to use this as a jumping off point in the company/industry - don't. Look elsewhere. There is a huge gap between the brokers and "professionals" in marketing and research, and the "staff" whom are mostly marketing & administrative assistants, and receptionists. These marketing & administrative assistant positions vary from brokerage team to team, but in C&W corporate eyes- they are just an assistant. Lots of folks filling these positions have previous professional experience and higher education degrees and would like to grow into a professional position in brokerage, marketing or research but C&W does not offer anything like that. There are rare instances where people transition from this to another role in the company- typically someone with several years of experience will get into Operations/Human Resources, managing the "staff". But there is no track to get into brokerage, research, marketing, etc. If you want something more- you have to go elsewhere. -Lower than average compensation -Turnaround with regional operations management, and high turnaround in general because of the lack of growth opportunities -Lack of diversity -Lack of professional development (for staff)- the "professional track" for a marketing & administrative assistant is to work their way up to an executive assistant- like a caste system. There aren't resources for staff to learn more about other in-depth topics outside of their day to day workload. That being said, for brokers, there are great mentorship programs, training and continuing education.

Pros

Very flexible with working from home and have great PTO/sick time. Nashville market leadership is invested in employee’s personal & career development. They do 401k match

Cons

Compensation is reasonable but could be better. APM is considered hourly & therefore not eligible for bonuses like salaried positions.
