Pros

- The people overall are amazing. You will have the opportunity to work with really smart individuals for a industry leading company. - We’re working from home (probably until mid-2021) but the office is really nice and culture is great especially for young professionals. - Depending on the department, top-down communication is typically good and you do feel like you’re cared for as a person. - They handled the COVID layoffs with integrity and really helped those who they laid off

Cons

- Promotions are only title changes and don’t include more money (also only happen 2x/year), so it’s very difficult to increase your compensation unless you’re hired at an already high pay. - “Promotions” are also based on tenure and not always performance so they can be very political and hard to obtain. - Great company for recent college graduates but a tough place for career advancement. - We’ve taken a hit due to COVID so no bonuses, merit increases, and 401k matching.

Pros

Great sales leadership, great sales team, lots of really good sales tools. The Sales teams and AM teams are really outstanding, as is the sales centric culture here. Sales leadership is proactive, sharp, and seems to adapt well.

Cons

Pay and benefits are... poor. In sales they can get away with it b/c the culture is so good but for other things, the company is really just cheap. they lose a lot of talent b/c they leave for average salaries - Cvent is below average. Sales training and enablement is a mess. It's a very reactive team, focused on checking the boxes. They talk a lot about moving fast, iterating... but things are very slow, get bottled up with leadership a lot. Leaders in this group are mixed. When they are focused and listening they can be good, they tend to fight for their people well. But they don't listen a lot, mostly they just push for the answer they wanted from the beginning, and b/c they are trying to go fast, they rarely slow down and look at the big picture. Then when there are bumps in the road or complaints later, they are suprised.
