Pros
The people are what make Cvent a very rewarding place to work at. You work with very intelligent and talented people. I have learned a lot from the people I work with, and I consider this aspect the best part of working here. There is a lot of young people at Cvent, and this creates a high energy - fun culture. Cvent has been growing rapidly, and to keep up with the technical demands of this growth, lots of new technologies are being incorporated into the tech stack. It is not uncommon to see numerous projects that are all firsts of their kind going on simultaneously, and being worked on by recent hires. This is probably the second best part of working here, especially as a recent graduate. You will get exposed to new technologies, which will boost your skills significantly. Management gives you good feedback every 3 months. There are also rewards for hard working peoople besides the career opportunities. Your hard work is often rewarded here. You will also be given a lot of responsibility if management feels that you can handle it. This is good news for those who want to grow in their careers from early on: If you show your willingness to work and you have the skills, you will be given great responsibilities.
Cons
Tight deadlines which leads to periods of long hours and stress. You will definitely feel stressed at such times, and will need to learn to deal with this stress and make good use of your time out of work. Traffic around Tyson's Corner can be pretty bad and depending on where you're coming from, this can cause long commutes.
