Pros
Top leaders are great, they seem caring, corporate office has a great culture, great teammates, products are great. Seems to be better if you work at corporate office.
Cons
Very toxic if you aren’t hitting quota, called out in front of whole team to explain deal by deal why you couldn’t get it forecasted in time, extremely embarrassing conversations for your team members to watch that should be private, team meetings are just pod manager telling team everything they are doing wrong - why not address these 1:1? Why yell at whole team constantly when one person does something? Blackstone just took over and pod leader is already threatening to us that we are replaceable and they’ll bring new talent in better than us so we need to sell more to keep our job. We’re told to foster relationships with hotels but then if they don’t sign when we want to, we are supposed to pressure them and tell them they need us and for us to care less about the hotels. It’s sad because the leaders on top seem great, but pod managers are too busy to be accessible and can’t offer guidance. Everyone is on their own confused trying to find information and who to ask. It’s overwhelming for anyone newer to the company and then they wonder why we can’t hit our numbers when there is so much information accessible to us that it can take hours to try and find yourself, and our pod leaders never have time for us so when you work from home be prepared to be on your own island.
