A Sinking Ship - Anonymous employee Cybrary Employee Review

The leadership team never followed processes, company culture, or cared about anyone else but themselves. It starts at the top- and when you have an ELT that decides not to be present or "to busy" for everything their employees will follow. Leadership was always overworked and always had a pity party thrown for them but as a normal employee you were never allowed to be overwhelmed or busy. You were expected to be able to pick up any mess or any work for them. Many people have left the company and or complained about the ELT and all of those people have been ignored. Great people have left Cybrary and have been laid off while Leadership has stayed and this is why they will continue to sink. As a normal employee if you hit goals and improve employee moral you are ignored and overlooked because again the ELT doesn't care and they don't find you to be important. The company has spent stupid amounts of money on parties, office toys, etc. but will then share that were not in a great place. Shortly after that they will bring in "new talent" with a job title that doesn't even make sense or seem necessary to the company. No one will actually know what that person does on a daily basis and then after a few months you will see that person get let go. No one on the ELT team seems to be organized. You will feel you lost brain cells because one minute they are sharing an idea with you and providing you with new tasks. You'll work hard on these tasks to then be told leadership actually forgot that what you have been working on was actually their idea and now you have to convince them that all the work you had put into the project is important and convince them that their own idea should be a go.
