Business Outlook
Pros
For entry-level engineers, there's good work that'll give you good experience without overwhelming you (depending on your position and the customer) Work-Life balance is pretty good (OT isn't typically required, hours are flexible) Pay is decent and hourly for lower-level employees
Cons
Cyient provides outsourced labor for a variety of engineering companies, the workload intensity and demand will depend on the specific customer Benefits are the bare minimum for engineering (2 weeks PTO + holidays, 2% 401k match, insurance) Management is slow to hand out raises (also good luck getting more than 2.5% raise)
