Pros

Horton is a place where you can really build a career. Loyalty really means something to this company and those who started it. I stay for the family atmosphere, support from my team-members and upper management, the excellent benefits, and the fact that I am not micromanaged.

Cons

Horton doesn't do a lot of "hand-holding". I personally love this fact, but for those who are not autonomous and do not thrive in that type of environment, you will not succeed here.

Pros

You get paid well. The more you care, the better the reputation you will create and the better the clients will be.

Cons

Depending on community you get it can be more of a grind and take some time to get it running the way it needs to be. The drive to a community may be far from your house.

Pros

High volume sales and great pay

Cons

They work you like a slave, there is no work-life balance, and most people end up divorced and in the hospital due to the insane amount of stress. Average tenure is 3 years for this position, but if you can stick it out for 3 years, it's potentially life-changing money. They have intentionally created an environment where only the strong survive. Have an exit-strategy and a back up plan for when things hit the fan.
