Pros

I learned a lot about the home building process. I only had to work a few Saturdays a year and was only slightly busier at month-end close time (maybe 45-55 hours for 1-2 weeks).

Cons

Most everything. The PTO is terrible (2 weeks and cant use sick days as PTO), the insurance was only decent until you have been there two years then it gets better and the cost for STD was high. What was presented as "flexibility" in the interview never came true. If you like to come to work, talk to no one, get your job done & leave then maybe you will love it here. The "team" dynamics are essentially non-existent. Except for we left as a team regardless of if I was done with my work or not. Management cant communicate well at all.

Pros

You get paid well. The more you care, the better the reputation you will create and the better the clients will be.

Cons

Depending on community you get it can be more of a grind and take some time to get it running the way it needs to be. The drive to a community may be far from your house.

Pros

Amazing team environment. Pay and benefits are very strong as well. They take care of their employees.

Cons

Be expected to put in more than just the typical 9-5 work schedule.
