Pros

There are some good people here, unfortunately they are all in the same boat sitting in a toxic environment that gives no means for success, growth, or advancement. The only reason Work/Life balance gets 3 stars is because it is pretty laid back and flexible but it does not come without a cost. Management will either make you feel terrible about the choices you are making (putting your family and life before work) or give you a really hard time about taking off. Even accusing you of going to job interviews with time off or calling you to find out what you are doing when you are taking off. Stalking your professional networks. There is some serious insecurities going on with keeping people, which is justified when you look at the turn over.

Cons

Every one I know flees this place. Every one that has not escaped, wants to but for reasons of their own have not been able to or are not in a position to do so. Management has no idea what is going on and they don't really care. The only thing driving management here is selfish ambition and politics. Want to do a great job? This is not the place for you. Want to do a mediocre job and just collect a paycheck, well you can do that here, but be prepared to be thrown under the bus at the drop of a hat or pressured to meet extremely unrealistic expectations. Want to be appreciated? Not here! In fact it is the opposite and the minute someone leaves there is so much bitterness and unprofessional behavior management trashes them to every one they can. The only thing going for anyone who actually leaves is that the people management are trashing them to, know management is toxic and not to pay any attention. Management will pin people against each other. There is no trust and God forbid you actually make a suggestion or business process that makes sense to the business itself. The only thing this company has going for them is that they can build a nice house. They are definitely not in the market to keep employees, develop them, or give them any entitlement to their job or skills. It is toxic.

Pros

You get paid well. The more you care, the better the reputation you will create and the better the clients will be.

Cons

Depending on community you get it can be more of a grind and take some time to get it running the way it needs to be. The drive to a community may be far from your house.

Pros

Cannot name any pros. There are good qualities for certain not all bad here but must be a well embedded figure in the real estate industry here in central VA. OR you must know managment personally... The HSA ia nice for certain but thats it

Cons

I strongly caution potential employees about this company due to significant issues with management and pay structure: - Employees are classified as W2 in Virginia but receive no base pay, meaning all income relies on lead generation. This creates immense pressure without guaranteed compensation and this also includes your insurance. if you have no pending commissions the corp office will call and ask you to pay for your insurance so be careful to even enroll.. - The requirement to be present in the model from 10 AM to 6 PM without pay is a burden, especially since leads are not provided, forcing employees to perform outreach without compensation. Which would be okay if they had traffic or plan to create traffic but its all on you 100% no excuses or exceptions unless you are good with management which is not based on preformace like management claims. - Management is inconsistent and often unresponsive, leading to frustration. There is a clear lack of loyalty even towards upper management, with many feeling unsupported and undervalued. - Favoritism is prevalent, with senior representatives enjoying privileges that are not extended to others. This creates an unfair environment where performance standards seem to apply selectively. - The overall morale is undermined by poor management practices, with managers openly complaining about the director of sales while providing contradictory statements regarding rules and expectations depending on who you are OR who you know If you are a good sales rep, don’t waste your time here. Seek opportunities where your talents will be recognized and rewarded.
