Pros

Nice office space and friendly coworkers

Cons

Worst training, horrible management, weird sales techniques. They completely lie during the interview process about work/life balance and expected pay. They aren’t transparent about the product you’re going to sell or the actual hours you will be required to work. They only guarantee minimum wage based on 40 hours, don’t pay overtime, but make you work much more. The learning curve is steep due to lack of quality training.

D&M Leasing Response

To whom this may concern, Thank you for your feedback. I must say, however, that I am very surprised by this response, so I will attempt to address each of your concerns. Each of our managers started with the company in a sales position on the ground level. Our average tenure for sales managers is 17 years. Sales representatives have over a 10 year tenure with our organization. As for the training, videos are presented in the first few days to give a new representative a gauge on what to expect. We offer sales training three times a week and require that all ‘lead taking’ agents attend. This level of support and weekly training is provided from one of our top executives and is widely popular with the sales agents. Sales agents also receive daily training from their sales managers. Further, our sales techniques are logic or consumer needs based, meaning we are searching for mutually beneficial solutions for our clients. Today we have over 50,000 active clients, and we come to work every day to give our clients a world class experience. Finally, with all due respect to your personal experience, I take exception to your statement that we are not transparent with new potential representatives. I am personally involved in the interviewing process of a high percentage of new sales representatives and make it crystal clear that the position isn’t for everyone. Selling over the phone is not something that most people can do, and we are extremely transparent about that while vetting potential leasing agents. The learning curve is very steep, no question. Our mission is to train and develop our new reps as we partner with them in their success. Our hours of operations haven’t changed in the 20 years I have been employed with the company and are generally considered extremely reasonable allowing our sales professionals an excellent work/life balance. In closing, we don’t have a company without our valued sales representatives and our client base, and we appreciate both and hold them in the highest regard. It appears something has gone terribly wrong with your onboarding. My cell number is 817-793-0150 if I can be of any personal assistance to you. Thanks.

Pros

This company has a great culture from the top down. Management actually cares about their employees and their lives outside of work. D&M has a lot of tenured employees for a reason!

Cons

D&M is a truly unique company, and as such there can be a steep learning curve for some positions.

Pros

Great Work / Life balance! Ability to earn 6-figure income year after year! Promotes from within the organization! Management has a clear understanding as to what tools you need to be successful from 1 -3 years / 4 - 7 years / 7 to 10 years plus.

Cons

You have to forgive my bias thoughts on the word **Cons** as I just celebrated my 10th year work anniversary here at D&M Leasing - Fort Worth. I have read through all the posted reviews regarding: Micromanagement, Expensive Benefits, Intense Early Days, Commission Chargebacks & Turnover. If this list of stated **Cons** represents a 50-year-old world-class organization that cares about the success of each employee from day one. Then I am proud to represent that employer. For each Pro there is a Con. For each Con there is a Pro. We are all entitled to our own thoughts / opinions. But they should come from a place in which you have gone through it, worked through it, built something through it longer than a few months or a year or two. My only *Con* is that I should have relocated to Texas and found D&M 20 years ago and not 10 as this would have been my 20th work anniversary celebrated this month. wag3
