Lack of advancement opportunities, position feels like a dead-end. Several branches including mine are experiencing issues with employee retention/turnover and insufficient staffing in many departments which seems to be getting worse over the last 3 - 4 years. In turn, this results in much heavier workload on the remaining staff members and has a very negative impact on work-life balance. Senior management seems aloof and has no idea how much conditions have declined for many teams in ops, and it doesn't look like things will improve in the near future.
