I am happy to see you feel the support of leadership in your area! As you know, we spend a tremendous amount of time, resources and energy as a company in developing our people to be 21st century leaders who focus on not just results but also respect and encourage an open feedback culture so it's great you see that as a positive!
I joined the company just over two years ago and can definitely understand your comment on it being a little overwhelming, With the fast paced atmosphere and acronyms and global scope and all the new people, your head can surely be left spinning! Since I've joined, we've instituted the "DHL In-a-Box" program for new hires globally to help with their transition to the Express culture before they even start and we've been getting rave reviews about it! We are also looking at digitilizing our onboarding programs and instituting buddy and mentor programs and a whole host of other things to welcome our new employees. Check in with your local HR Rep or reach out to me directly and I'll be sure you are up to date on everything that is available to help roll the red carpet out to our new team members in your area!
