Pros

DSG is a great place to learn A LOT. There is growth in every direction and you can really take your time here and run with it. I started in 2014 and within 2 years I've received multiple raises and promotions, you just have to show your drive and most managers will help you in any way they can. I've been apart of multiple locations and held multiple titles and rolls, I've received multiple offers from other companies that have recognized my quick upward movement in the company. I never thought an entry level retail job would end up turning into a career that I love. If you're just looking for a summer job, DSG really supports those candidates as well, again as long as you're willing to actually WORK during that summer. It's generally a pretty fun environment, but of course there are the usual negatives that come with the retail world, especially with the volume DSG carries.

Cons

Keeps worthless employees too long. Sometimes you need to drink the "green kool-aid" in order for corporate to really buy into you.

Pros

Corporate is 10/10. At a large company, every department is different but they value their customers and employees and offer great benefits. Rewarding to work there

Cons

Not much to say. Best employer I’ve had

Pros

- Unlimited PTO with 401k match is awesome

Cons

- Performance expectations were often unclear or inconsistently communicated, Feedback was reactive instead of timely and actionable. - Leadership quality varied dramatically by manager, with limited coaching or mentorship. - Constant shifting priorities without adjusting expectations or workload. - Psychological safety was lacking, Honest communication feel risky. - Leadership messaging around culture didn't match day-to-day reality. - Process was often valued more than impact or results. - Compensation well below market, w/little flexibility during negotiations. - I felt excluded from key conversations and opportunities that were important to my success.
