Pros

You are part of a successful company with a good reputation, the jobs and tasks were easy, able to interact with customers and help inform them what product would best fit their needs

Cons

the day to day job can easily get boring and monotonous if business is slow, it was hard to build relationships with other employees due to competition and lack of job security, the pay was not competitive at all for part time employees, unflexible scheduling, i was laid off without notice until i showed up to look at the schedule, quite embarassing

Pros

It's fun to interact with athletes and help them achieve their goals.

Cons

As with any part-time job in this economy today, hourly pay for part-timers is so much lower that the cost of living. Just to cover my internet access each month (which is now considered an essential living cost), it takes 6 hours of work. For the minimal increase in hourly pay if I took a full-time job at DSG, I wouldn't be able to cover even 70% of my living expenses (housing, food, transport, internet, phone). It's a sobering thought as we navigate this country's massive wealth disparity.
