Pros
Work is fairly easy to grasp
Cons
During my time with this company, one of the most noticeable and disappointing experiences was working under a team lead who consistently created a tense and uncomfortable work environment. While some may view this individual as involved or helpful, the reality behind the scenes is quite the opposite. When this supervisor is absent, the office atmosphere becomes noticeably calmer, more collaborative, and productive. Staff are able to focus, communicate freely, and complete tasks without the cloud of negativity hanging over them. Unfortunately, their presence often shifts the entire environment, creating tension and discomfort for the team. Rather than embodying the leadership qualities expected in a professional setting — like support, guidance, and respect — this supervisor frequently resorted to belittling team members, down-talking staff both directly and behind their backs, and even labeling people as “dumb.” Targeting certain individuals and fostering a culture of favoritism and passive-aggressive communication became a regular part of the workday. Leadership should uplift a team, promote growth, and lead by example — not tear others down or create division. This behavior not only undermined the potential of talented employees but also drove away motivated individuals who simply wanted to work in a professional, respectful environment. For anyone considering a role within this team or department, I would advise paying close attention to the office culture and leadership style before making your decision.
