Pros
- cash bonuses, bigger if you're on teams that make money for the company - nice location downtown - catered food in the office - diverse coworkers
Cons
- soulless mission that prioritizes money over everything else - large on-premise infrastructure because they're scared of utilizing the cloud across desks even though all the engineers clamor for it - infrastructure is viewed as a line item that costs the business money, not a potential revenue maker - ancient tech in parts of the infrastructure that make reliability & security kind of a joke.. where "best practices" and new ideas go to pasture - jockeying middle managers that don't care about you and your life outside of work - extremely limited internal mobility and career growth
