As always, I appreciate the feedback but I do need to clarify several items you mentioned. Since I oversee the HR Department, I can speak to the fact that we do care about employees and want you to succeed. If you’ve been working at DUMAC for a long time as you stated, you would know first-hand that we haven’t had many polices or procedures. That may seem like a positive to some but in reality it is not. DUMAC has made the decision to implement processes to be consistent and fair in how we handle issues as they come up. That’s a good thing. I would be more than happy to explain to you what a hostile work environment is. Setting expectations and holding employees accountable for those expectations is not. We want employees that have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and take ownership for their actions. Regarding the importance of making sure everyone is badging into the building, this is for the safety of everyone that works here and it’s unfortunate that something so simple and easy to do has caused you such frustration. Change can be challenging for some and I can understand that, but making statements that are untrue is disappointing. I’m more than happy to address any additional concerns you may have.
