Pros
1. If you're the kind of person who likes to just run with things, you get a ton of opportunity to do that as a junior employee. 2. There's very little micromanagement and a lot of autonomy, which really worked for me. 3. Great place to make friends if you are new to the DC area, there's a lot of younger people to make friends with. 4. When I wanted to leave to go to a new industry, my manager and executive were both so helpful and supportive in that process. No one ever holds it against you if you want to go explore something new.
Cons
1. Management wants you to come up with solutions and ideas on your own, which I saw people struggle with sometimes. 2. Not a con per se, but expectations are super high here. You won't be able to hide as a lower performer.
