Pros

- Lots of team meetings and outings to promote community - flexible schedules - davita university allows for professional development

Cons

- Pay is atrocious (the company would rather spend money on lavish Christmas parties than give employees raises or try to keep up with the ever increasing cost of living. [note: expect $0.12-0.20 for your annual raise and hopefully $1 for promotions]. - While the company promotes community it really doesn’t reach the teams. Every one is only trying to serve themselves and they’re willing to screw others over for their own development. Managers will make mistakes and then turn around and let their teammates take the blame for it. They also brag about mobility and the opportunity to grow within the company but none of that equals more money for being a better asset to the company. They will pay outside hires more than the people trying to grow within. Employees are recommended to apply for positions externally rather than do lateral transfers.

Pros

Management supports a work-life balance, hours are flexible, okay benefits. Good training opportunities and there is effort by management to support a good work culture. 6 weeks at 80% of pay Paternity/Maternity & Adoption leave. 401K with 6% matching. For 2 adults, we pay for Davita's Anthem BCBS healthcare plan and it is $350/month (4,700 deductible).

Cons

Payscale isn't aggressive - 1% raise each year. You also may be asked to cover other clinics temporarily without fair compensation for the extra workload.
