I work with awesome people and feel supported by management. However, I have worked at several clinics and they each are different. At only one clinic did the staff sabotage each other and bullying of staff was tolerated. This job is high stress and fast paced so helping each other is important. All but one clinic, the patients were always extremely important and the staff truly cared about our patients. Flexibility of work schedule
Cons
Salary. Usually Only cost of living raises and no set salary per position so new people can be hired in at same or higher wages than people who have been with the company for years. Salaries are such a secret and all over the place. While you can get up to 6. weeks PTO based on years and hours worked, when census flexuates hours are decreased and you end up having to use a lot of PTO just to make up hours lost.
