Pros

Entry level employees have the opportunity to advance. The benefit package is gook and there are benefits available to part-time employees.

Cons

Regulations regarding the reimbursement of dialysis treatments have changed, and in an effort to maintain profit levels management is "putting the screws on" workers at the patient care level. Staffing is inadequate to ensure a safe work environment, and basic supplies are limited in ways that affect care. Employee morale is at an all time low, as people are offered hypothetical bonuses for avoiding overtime costs, then constantly asked to work on their days off to avoid the need to hire more staff. All access to upper level management has to go through mid-level management who are coached and trained to be unresponsive.

Pros

Depending on location and your clinic, leadership team is incredibly supportive, which keeps the day-to-day work environment relatively stress-free. Having the independence to manage your own scheduling also allows for an excellent work-life balance.

Cons

The initial onboarding and training programs are highly disorganized and lack substance. Additionally, standard pay raises are quite low and do not feel competitive relative to the workload and current market value.
