Pros
Great place to learn the ins and outs of corporate recruiting in a large public company. Autonomy to do your job how you want to if you are producing. Decent resources for recruiters overall. Overall strong health benefits, but their PTO /Holiday policy is not competitive. Schedule flexibility is great- you can work anywhere a laptop and phone will work. Great teammates. If you work in the office, many opportunities to get involved and meet other teammates. Ability participate in things outside of your day to day grind if you want to get involved. Provide an eco pass for Denver employees.
Cons
The req loads are simply not manageable working a 40 hour work week though they love to tout work/life balance at DaVita. Lack of support for recruiters; leaders talk out of both sides- yes we have "your back" but "you're not doing enough." As an organization, DaVita seems to prefer hiring externally over promoting internal growth. Too much emphasis on numbers and metrics and not enough on its people. As a recruiter, I felt overworked and under appreciated.
