Pros

Benefits, the number of clinics to work at.

Cons

Payroll department is incompetent, You have to fight for money owed you, They do not like to promote from with in, to many supervisors and senior management with no dialysis experience and have never worked in a clinic that are calling the shots. The biggest is low salarys equal low job preformance, you think they would have figured that out by now. Just some fun facts, a Technician who dialyzes patient's with End Stage Renal Disease makes anywhere from $13.50-$16.00 per hour, the adverage bus driver in HISD starts at $13.72 per hour, now how scary is that? The tecnician has at least four patients at one time and has to monitor their bloodpressure, stick them with needles, and countless other tasks and thats all they make.

Pros

Depending on location and your clinic, leadership team is incredibly supportive, which keeps the day-to-day work environment relatively stress-free. Having the independence to manage your own scheduling also allows for an excellent work-life balance.

Cons

The initial onboarding and training programs are highly disorganized and lack substance. Additionally, standard pay raises are quite low and do not feel competitive relative to the workload and current market value.
