Pros

There are some very nice co-workers. There is not alot of room for advancement. Like the learning management system.

Cons

Everyone off to "villagewide" this week - most likely costs millions of dollars, yet merit raises 1-1.5%. Management middle and above are slaves to the "metrics." Work life balance is a joke. The company has great core values and they are posted everywhere - unfortunately managers do not "walk their talk."

Pros

Stable company to work for with great benefits. DaVita offers tuition reimbursement, so it pays to go back to school and get a degree. They also help with career advancement and development.

Cons

If you are new to dialysis, it may take a while to reach a decent wage. You are required to work 12 hour shifts, mostly on your feet, and managers will always look to add to your workload.

Pros

Depending on location and your clinic, leadership team is incredibly supportive, which keeps the day-to-day work environment relatively stress-free. Having the independence to manage your own scheduling also allows for an excellent work-life balance.

Cons

The initial onboarding and training programs are highly disorganized and lack substance. Additionally, standard pay raises are quite low and do not feel competitive relative to the workload and current market value.
