Pros
flexible schedule, decent pay (but only after staying with this company for way longer than I should have)
Cons
The clinic I work in is currently falling apart, and has been for more than a year. Corporate leadership doesn't seem able to do anything about it, and is more concerned with focusing on covering their own butts rather than fixing the main issues. We've been understaffed for at least a year, and without a clinic manager for almost a year. Employees are abandoning ship due to lack of support. Mistakes are being made and staff are constantly being educated on the proper way to do things despite not having enough staff to complete said tasks. On multiple occasions this year we have had to reschedule half of our patients or close the clinic altogether due to not having nursing coverage. Patients are fed up, staff are frustrated and burnt out. Starting next week we're down to one nurse, and next month we have no nurses. Temp management is in denial that we're about to have no nurses and there is zero plan in place at the moment. I already dread having to deal with all of the angry patients and family over the inevitable rescheduled treatments. I'm basically just hanging in here so I can keep a paycheck while I apply for other jobs.
