low base, only 1 percent 401k match, no stock, no short term disability insurance, delayed commissions. Commissions is only half upfront and comes 1 month after quarter closes. AEs expected to work with 20 different BDRs, 15 different sales engineers, 5 different pre sales engineers, 10 differ CSMs, and several managers/directors. This leaves little time to actually sell. Bad comp structure continues with management team. Some directors take deals from their own reps to make ends meet. Travel was very uncomfortable pre-covid, especially in the winter with flights getting delayed. Had to fly outside of business hours, which meant really late nights. Felt unsafe walking to rental cars or getting in Ubers at midnight.
