Pros
It's in decline but won't disappear anytime soon - it's not an attractive acquisition, and the family will not sell. Plenty of production jobs are available.
Cons
Executive leadership team no longer behaves in alignment with core values. This leads to lots of passive-aggressive behaviors from many functions and managers. Same group has been unable to admit mistakes and set a successful strategy for drastically changed market, so no longer seen as a market leader. Inability to successfully innovate has led to competitors taking market share. Belonging a core value, but the DEI program is just a slogan; many women and employees of color have seen little if any improvements. Lack of diversity not helping innovation efforts. Managers and other leaders have declining confidence in many groups, esp. Planning and HR. With the former, HR leaders have lost a lot of trust (esp. in Mfg) in past 12-18 months and many of the best HR staff members have departed.
