      The leadership at Databricks is top-notch. Some of the most brilliant and selfless professionals you'll find anywhere, in or out of tech.

      Cons

      I don't consider this a con, but everyone interested in joining Databricks should be prepared to work hard. At the velocity this company is growing, there's going to be more demand than resources to meet it.

      - great people - amazing product that sells itself once people get their hands on it - innovative company - decent ote and benefits

      Cons

      - comp plan this year for hunters is not aligned with company strategy of focusing on larger, multi-year commits. it incentivizes quantity of deals vs. quality of deals, and payouts on commit $$$ are peanuts.
