I’m disappointed to learn that this is your experience at Dataminr, especially considering our recent anonymous engagement survey showing that over 92% of surveyed employees believe they have open and honest two-way communication with their manager and that their direct manager genuinely cares about their wellbeing. I’d welcome the opportunity to learn why this isn’t your experience and how we can carve a path forward where you feel valued. It's important to myself and the rest of the leadership team that employees know how much they are valued. This is why we’ve expanded our benefits program based on employee feedback to be more inclusive (e.g. family planning, increased parental leave), and invested more into our DEI, mentorship, and management programs.

Pros

* Differentiated technology platform with real-time intelligence capabilities, particularly in the physical security and threat detection space

Cons

* Frequent leadership changes have made it difficult to maintain consistent strategic direction * Company initiatives often reset before prior efforts fully mature, creating execution gaps * Senior leadership structure can feel top-heavy, which at times slows decision-making and accountability * Market positioning in cybersecurity may not be as strong or clearly differentiated as competitors * Organizational changes have led to disruption and uncertainty for employees during transition periods * In some cases, expectations during the hiring process did not fully align with the day-to-day reality of the role * Strategic messaging is strong, but execution and follow-through can lag behind stated priorities
