Pros

The back end tech is incredible

Cons

There is no experience in leadership or understanding of where the product should sit in the ecosystem. Instead they created app and try and sell using feature/function into a single use case without understanding the overarching value of the data. The new functionality bears no resemblance to the market demand or aligned to an understanding of overarching industry trends. Sunk costs for the corporate app are enormous and how it got past the board tells you everything you need to know about why the company is in trouble with seemingly no pathway out. The revised 2024 strategy is just further down the rabbit hole and is the most missed opportunity I've witnessed in a long time. The rapid hiring and firing of people into roles without a product to sell (brand + cyber) is a further demonstration of a lack of management experience in the technology space.

Pros

* Differentiated technology platform with real-time intelligence capabilities, particularly in the physical security and threat detection space

Cons

* Frequent leadership changes have made it difficult to maintain consistent strategic direction * Company initiatives often reset before prior efforts fully mature, creating execution gaps * Senior leadership structure can feel top-heavy, which at times slows decision-making and accountability * Market positioning in cybersecurity may not be as strong or clearly differentiated as competitors * Organizational changes have led to disruption and uncertainty for employees during transition periods * In some cases, expectations during the hiring process did not fully align with the day-to-day reality of the role * Strategic messaging is strong, but execution and follow-through can lag behind stated priorities
