Pros

I've been at Dataminr for a while now, and I've had an amazing experience. I've grown and been challenged more than I ever thought I would. I've been given difficult projects but with a supportive and collaborative team to work with me, it has never felt overwhelming. There's always something new to learn, especially in the field of AI, and my manager encourages both professional and personal development. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a meaningful career in AI and tech.

Cons

At times the work can be demanding but I have relished the challenge of working at a high-tempo to serve our customers.

Pros

* Differentiated technology platform with real-time intelligence capabilities, particularly in the physical security and threat detection space

Cons

* Frequent leadership changes have made it difficult to maintain consistent strategic direction * Company initiatives often reset before prior efforts fully mature, creating execution gaps * Senior leadership structure can feel top-heavy, which at times slows decision-making and accountability * Market positioning in cybersecurity may not be as strong or clearly differentiated as competitors * Organizational changes have led to disruption and uncertainty for employees during transition periods * In some cases, expectations during the hiring process did not fully align with the day-to-day reality of the role * Strategic messaging is strong, but execution and follow-through can lag behind stated priorities
