      Could it be worse? - CNC Machine Operator Dauch Employee Review

      Pros

      Good at putting on a show for big shots and customers/customer companies.

      Cons

      Every Lathe leaks coolant and oil. Every Lathe crashes due to cheap tooling and cheap inserts. Problems get heard but nothing ever gets fixed. Then when things are taken care of - the fixes never truly last long because engineers and maintenance don't seem to care or if they do care then the machines are just so bandaged with duct tape and hope that nothing will ever truly run properly.

      Pros

      Team and manager is super knowledgeable. Everyone shows up and gets their work done. They do have employee resource groups that do a lot of events. Benefits are alright compared to others. Flexible with appointments and stuff like that.

      Cons

      Only one day wfh. Location and commute isn’t great.

      Job security, there are never enough engineers.

      Cons

      Poor work life balance for production support.
