Pros

Exposure to how hotels operate on a day to day basis. Company is handcuffed by their outdated systems and analysis software is almost non-existent.

Cons

Management is underwhelming. A very clicky culture in the corp hq. If your not in you won't make it far here.

Thank you so much for sharing your concerns regarding your employment at our company. I will say at our corporate office there is definitely a competitive culture of hard work and high rewards. We do expect our support staff to be in lock step with all parts of the organization. We make that very easy with open communication and regular town-hall gatherings. We are always working to enhance systems to create efficiencies. I disagree with you on DNET. It is a great source of real time information. I am sorry you did not share your concerns during your employment. Our love for and commitment to our Team Members is something we are known for throughout the industry. We have so many vehicles for you to share these sorts of concerns – the most basic is our open door environment and easy access to our President and our COO. I've truly enjoyed my time at Davidson. The culture is one of the company's greatest strengths and is genuinely led from the top down. Leadership is approachable, supportive, and committed to giving teams the tools and resources they need to succeed. Regional and executive leadership are engaged, accessible, and always willing to help when challenges arise. It's refreshing to work for a company that invests in its people and creates an environment where collaboration, accountability, and professional growth are encouraged every day.

Cons

Cons: Career advancement may require relocation (not a con to me but could be to some) , and some decisions can take longer yhan desired because leadership values collaboration and thoughtful planning. Overall, these are small trade-offs for the strong culture, support, and opportunities the company provides.
