Pros

They truly believe employees matter. Regional team regularly engaged with hotel teams. Good corporate support for each operating department. Good 401K plan and benefits. Encourage your continued learning and development. Company continues to grow, so there should also be an increase in career advancement opportunities. I worked at multiple Davidson-managed hotels and had a positive experience at each one.

Cons

Lack of defined training/development for internal career paths. (Still, they encourage growth.) Salaries aren't too competitive. Work/life balance isn't great. (But that's at any hotel...)

Pros

I've truly enjoyed my time at Davidson. The culture is one of the company's greatest strengths and is genuinely led from the top down. Leadership is approachable, supportive, and committed to giving teams the tools and resources they need to succeed. Regional and executive leadership are engaged, accessible, and always willing to help when challenges arise. It's refreshing to work for a company that invests in its people and creates an environment where collaboration, accountability, and professional growth are encouraged every day.

Cons

Cons: Career advancement may require relocation (not a con to me but could be to some) , and some decisions can take longer yhan desired because leadership values collaboration and thoughtful planning. Overall, these are small trade-offs for the strong culture, support, and opportunities the company provides.
