Pros

Great benefits No shortages of hours Willing to provide the resources needed at most levels.

Cons

Never being able to be to use PTO. I've not once been able to use mine unless it was a holiday in which I was working anyway. Worked long hours Literally told to do things from home; as an hourly associated; uncompensated. Informed upper Management (GM; Directors; Steering Committee; and HR) of being directed to take care of things while not at the hotel in hopes to receive compensation. Received write-ups for following hotel SOP (Not issuing keys to people not registered to room; and the person couldn't even provide his wives name, address, anything). Paperwork. "Davidson is the Yes; we made a form for that people". Unreasonable internal audits that the only way to pass is by faking it as the internal auditors come in.

Thank you for feedback. At Davidson Hotels and Resorts we celebrate our Team Members as our most important asset, essential to our success. We strive to provide a positive and inspiring workplace. As a matter of fact we are in the midst of our Team Member Opinion Survey process right now –hoping to understand what our Team Members think about their employment experience. As you are a current Team Member, I urge you to check in with your General Manager and/or your Human Resources Director again on these matters. If you feel that is not an option, please call me directly at 678-349-0945. I am particularly concerned about your statement regarding your pay. I would like to further understand your concerns. Thank you! Mary Powers Vice President, Human Resources

Pros

I've truly enjoyed my time at Davidson. The culture is one of the company's greatest strengths and is genuinely led from the top down. Leadership is approachable, supportive, and committed to giving teams the tools and resources they need to succeed. Regional and executive leadership are engaged, accessible, and always willing to help when challenges arise. It's refreshing to work for a company that invests in its people and creates an environment where collaboration, accountability, and professional growth are encouraged every day.

Cons

Cons: Career advancement may require relocation (not a con to me but could be to some) , and some decisions can take longer yhan desired because leadership values collaboration and thoughtful planning. Overall, these are small trade-offs for the strong culture, support, and opportunities the company provides.
