Friendly co-workers, PTO, reasonable benefit, O/T availability.

Cons

Extremely boring due to slow business most of the time, due to so many rules & regulations, you can not even do your normal job regularly. Always open never closed, hence no work / life balance. All corporate people who regularly visit will criticize you, you are always on the spot. On top of that, you have to deal with LRA secret audits. So many people, so many rules, so many regulations & so complicated, that is why I quit !...... Come on, we are in the hospitality business, not building rockets.

You are absolutely right, hotels are open 24/7 and we need to ensure every guest feels our genuine warmth and hospitality . I've truly enjoyed my time at Davidson. The culture is one of the company's greatest strengths and is genuinely led from the top down. Leadership is approachable, supportive, and committed to giving teams the tools and resources they need to succeed. Regional and executive leadership are engaged, accessible, and always willing to help when challenges arise. It's refreshing to work for a company that invests in its people and creates an environment where collaboration, accountability, and professional growth are encouraged every day.

Cons

Cons: Career advancement may require relocation (not a con to me but could be to some) , and some decisions can take longer yhan desired because leadership values collaboration and thoughtful planning. Overall, these are small trade-offs for the strong culture, support, and opportunities the company provides.
