Pros

Great colleagues - you will work with smart people who, unfortunately, won’t be able to shine as bright as they can at DeVry. Cool student success stories

Cons

My overall experience with DeVry was largely negative. While the colleagues are great, they are burnt out, overworked, and lack guidance. They are scared and worried, which hinders their ability to perform good work. Marketing leaders will manipulate you and talk down to you if you can’t read their minds. They will reprimand you and purposefully misunderstand you. Leaders prioritize their own projects and outcomes over the people they work with, making you feel like just a number. It’s nearly impossible to do work you can be proud of due to the lack of strategic guidance and support. They are AI-driven, but it feels like smoke and mirrors. There’s no camaraderie among the employees. People are afraid to collaborate and are too stressed out to even try. Ideas will be shot down quickly. DeVry has a top-down issue that stifles any form of growth, direction, innovation, creativity, or positivity. I can’t recommend enough to stay away from this place.

Pros

DeVry Day was a wonderful example of our positive culture, meaningful work, and commitment to making a difference. Welcoming and congratulating graduates allowed me to celebrate their achievements firsthand and witness the impact of the support and resources DeVry provides throughout their educational journey. The event created a sense of community, recognition, and pride that reflected our dedication to student success. Seeing graduates and their families celebrate this milestone reinforced how our work contributes to helping students achieve their goals and create better futures for themselves

Cons

This event was nothing but spectacular!

Pros

Work from home, good benefits, paid time off & the pay.

Cons

They say it’s not a KPI based position but it is. They will not give commission because they say we should be in it for the students and not numbers but the position is solely based on numbers. This is not a warm, team friendly position. Even your team mates are in competition with you. You will work two Saturdays out of the month and sometimes even Sundays and they still won’t be satisfied with your work ethic.
