I worked there for a long time while finishing two degrees and took on more than was expected without any recognition. - Anonymous employee DeVry University Employee Review

Pros

Ability to make a difference in the lives of students. Most of the people that work there are good people overall.

Cons

No praise, recognition, or incentive to work hard or stay an employee there. There was no room for growth. You would think that the university would want to try to hire/keep employees that have worked there for years, learning the ins and outs of the system and processes, especially if they have earned one or more degrees from your university, and especially if they have already spent years being underpaid and under-appreciated (that way they will not be shocked by the way you would treat them as full time employees).

Pros

DeVry Day was a wonderful example of our positive culture, meaningful work, and commitment to making a difference. Welcoming and congratulating graduates allowed me to celebrate their achievements firsthand and witness the impact of the support and resources DeVry provides throughout their educational journey. The event created a sense of community, recognition, and pride that reflected our dedication to student success. Seeing graduates and their families celebrate this milestone reinforced how our work contributes to helping students achieve their goals and create better futures for themselves

Cons

This event was nothing but spectacular!

Pros

Work from home, good benefits, paid time off & the pay.

Cons

They say it’s not a KPI based position but it is. They will not give commission because they say we should be in it for the students and not numbers but the position is solely based on numbers. This is not a warm, team friendly position. Even your team mates are in competition with you. You will work two Saturdays out of the month and sometimes even Sundays and they still won’t be satisfied with your work ethic.
