Pros

Less people makes for more work. Some say that's a pro.

Cons

It's been about 4 months since 6% of the company was laid off and with this economy, very hard to find a career. Mainly because I was paid a lot of money (main reason I believe in laying me off) and now all of the companies I look for can't meet the demand I was so use to living. DeVry knew I recently bought a home and had a growing family though didn't take that into consideration when laying a Senior Advisor off. They have not helped regarding finding new work with recommendations and I'm still getting emails and mailers from them! I have called and told them to stop emailing or mailing me about their school since it's obvious I wouldn't dare get another degree from them. This has not been done.

Pros

DeVry Day was a wonderful example of our positive culture, meaningful work, and commitment to making a difference. Welcoming and congratulating graduates allowed me to celebrate their achievements firsthand and witness the impact of the support and resources DeVry provides throughout their educational journey. The event created a sense of community, recognition, and pride that reflected our dedication to student success. Seeing graduates and their families celebrate this milestone reinforced how our work contributes to helping students achieve their goals and create better futures for themselves

Cons

This event was nothing but spectacular!

Pros

Work from home, good benefits, paid time off & the pay.

Cons

They say it’s not a KPI based position but it is. They will not give commission because they say we should be in it for the students and not numbers but the position is solely based on numbers. This is not a warm, team friendly position. Even your team mates are in competition with you. You will work two Saturdays out of the month and sometimes even Sundays and they still won’t be satisfied with your work ethic.
