Pros

Currently in 2013 there is now room for advancement and training that was not available before. Admissions department pay has been lowered, but so has the workload for a more balanced work life. Academic departments are more streamlined and not as confusing as it once was during the time of my employment there. If you have the right management in place, it can be a great place to work.

Cons

The problems can be favoritism which ran rampant during my employment period of 2004 - 2009. And accountability for one's own work, and plenty of management back door dealings that we're borderline libel. From what I've seen and heard as of now, some of those practices have been eliminated, or they have taken strides to get ride of it. Unfortunately, there are still some bad seeds in the company.

Pros

DeVry Day was a wonderful example of our positive culture, meaningful work, and commitment to making a difference. Welcoming and congratulating graduates allowed me to celebrate their achievements firsthand and witness the impact of the support and resources DeVry provides throughout their educational journey. The event created a sense of community, recognition, and pride that reflected our dedication to student success. Seeing graduates and their families celebrate this milestone reinforced how our work contributes to helping students achieve their goals and create better futures for themselves

Cons

This event was nothing but spectacular!

Pros

Work from home, good benefits, paid time off & the pay.

Cons

They say it’s not a KPI based position but it is. They will not give commission because they say we should be in it for the students and not numbers but the position is solely based on numbers. This is not a warm, team friendly position. Even your team mates are in competition with you. You will work two Saturdays out of the month and sometimes even Sundays and they still won’t be satisfied with your work ethic.
