I've had a very positive experience working at DeVry University. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping both employees and students succeed. DeVry also fosters a true growth mindset. Employees are encouraged to continuously learn, take on new challenges, and invest in their professional development. I recently completed an internal leadership development program that was both challenging and highly relevant to my role. It also provided a great opportunity to collaborate with leaders from across the organization, exchange ideas, and learn from one another's experiences. Experiences like this demonstrate DeVry's commitment to developing its people and preparing them for future leadership opportunities. Cannot think of any cons.

The ALP program was a valuable leadership and professional development experience. I enjoyed connecting with colleagues across the organization, learning from different perspectives, and gaining practical takeaways I could apply in my role. The coaching sessions were especially helpful for reflecting on the content and discussing how to put the learning into practice.

The six-month program does require a meaningful time commitment, with three-hour content sessions followed by one-hour coaching sessions. At times, balancing the sessions with day-to-day responsibilities can be challenging, so having a dedicated time to fully engage in the program is important.
