Pros

Salaries are above market Flexible hours There is no micro management School is student focus

Cons

The engineering, information systems, and business schools have been affected by new regulations and economy. They are continually loosing students and so far unable to turn it around. The students have too much saying, professors are afraid to penalize students for fear of punishment from management. More layoffs are expected

Pros

The ALP program was a valuable leadership and professional development experience. I enjoyed connecting with colleagues across the organization, learning from different perspectives, and gaining practical takeaways I could apply in my role. The coaching sessions were especially helpful for reflecting on the content and discussing how to put the learning into practice.

Cons

The six-month program does require a meaningful time commitment, with three-hour content sessions followed by one-hour coaching sessions. At times, balancing the sessions with day-to-day responsibilities can be challenging, so having a dedicated time to fully engage in the program is important.
